Take a flight to Split Airport
- approximately a flight time of 2 hours 20 minutes from the
UK, (see below for flight
operators), then hire a car at the airport when you arrive
or in peak season pre book a car. (See below for car hire companies).
Proceed in your hire car or by taxi to Split ferry terminal (it
is about 30 minutes drive from the airport.).The ferry terminal
is clearly sign posted when you get into the city.
On arrival at the car ferry terminal you need to buy your ferry ticket to “Supetar” (Brac)
there are several ticket offices along the key side with the sign “Jadrolinija”.
Remember to buy a ticket for the car and the number of passengers and ask at
the ticket office for the terminal number that the ferry departs from and the
time of departure. (See below for Jadrolninja web site where you can get a timetable
in advance. Allow yourself an hour to get the tickets and queue .Drive your car
up to the ferry terminal and wait in the queue. (Most ferry’s are on time).
The ferry takes about 40 minutes and is a pleasant journey. In nice weather you
can sit on the top deck and sunbath and see the sites of Split. Dolphins can
often be seen during this trip. Refreshments are served onboard.
When you arrive at “Supertar” (Brac) drive off the ferry go straight
on down the road until you see the signs for Sumartin.
Follow the road until you get to Selca (a village on a hill overlooking
the sea) takes about 30 minutes .Go past Selca towards the sea until you
come to a fork in the road next to the sea. Turn right at the sign post “PUT
RUZMARINE PUTINAK “. Just follow the road which is tarmac and runs
along the sea. You will go past the local petrol station and past a stone
mason where
there is a large crane. Eventually the road forks. Take a right and go
up hill past lots of villas on both sides of the road keep going until
you can’t
go any further.
You will see some bushes in the middle of
the road like a mini round about. The villa is behind these.

Taxis on the island of Brac
A taxi can be taken from the Supetar (Brac) ferry terminal
to the villa this should cost in the region of 200kn (around £20)
